Dr. Caroline J Lee grew up in Detroit and went to Dartmouth College to pursue a bachelors in Biochemistry. Soon afterwards, she completed post-baccalaureate at Drexel University in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and a Master’s in Nutrition at Columbia University. Still not satisfied with her ability to care for patients, she then pursued a medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine where she discovered her passion for non-operative orthopedic care. Dr. Lee graduated cum laude and went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at United Health Services and moved back to the New York area to practice.
As a non-operative orthopedic and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, she is well equipped to treat musculoskeletal issues of the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, low back, hips, knees, and ankles. She also has specific training in regards to treating neurological disorders such as neuromuscular diseases, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, and concussions. Dr. Lee is also able to treat non-displaced fractures as well as test for nerve damage through electromyographic and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCV).
